Let’s celebrate baptisms with a church-wide BBQ, acoustic worship, and plenty of fun at Black Miner's Bar State Park! We’ll provide burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks. And we’ll enjoy a time of worship by the water together as we celebrate baptisms.

Please bring your own lawn chair/picnic blanket and a towel if you plan to swim or join for baptisms.

The park entrance is located on Greenback Lane, a quarter mile from Folsom Boulevard.

Parking is $10 per vehicle (but we have dinner covered!). Carpool if you want to share parking costs!

Baptism is a public “I belong to Jesus” moment: being lowered under water shows that your old life without Christ is dead and buried, and then lifted up again to symbolize His resurrection and your new life in Him. It doesn’t earn salvation—faith in Jesus already does that—but it’s an act of obedience and celebration, telling friends, family, and the world that you’ve trusted Christ and want to follow Him every day.
