Each week we kick things off with a fun\, interactive game that gets everyone involved and having a good time. Then we move into the heart of the night: worship that helps students connect with God\, teaching that helps them connect with His Word\, and small groups that help them connect with each other. \nOur vision is simple: every student should feel known\, valued\, and connected. That’s why Midweek ends in small groups divided by grade and gender\, where students can share what’s going on in their lives\, talk about what God is teaching them\, ask questions\, and grow in their faith with the support of trusted leaders. \nParents can feel confident that Midweek isn’t just a fun program—it’s a safe\, welcoming environment where middle schoolers are encouraged to build lasting friendships and discover who God made them to be. \nIf your student is ready to join a small group\, just take a minute to register. Tara Beth Leach invites us to listen for John’s guidance to the church. The same message John sent to Christians in his day is also a message for us today! Darkness seems to surround us\, leaving so many without hope. But Jesus\, the Light of the world\, invites his followers to share that light with others and become the kind of community that brings love\, hope\, and healing to every darkened space. SUMMARY:APEX Folsom Summer 2026
DESCRIPTION:APEX is a three-week summer program where students take part in an Apprenticeship Experience (APEX) designed to help them grow personally and spiritually. During the program\, students build meaningful friendships as they spend time learning\, serving\, and growing together. \nAPEX encourages students to deepen and strengthen their faith through shared experiences and discipleship. Students will also develop leadership skills that are valuable for future jobs and for building strong relationships with others. Throughout the three weeks\, students actively serve both the church through Breakaway Kids Camps and other various activities. Students will also serve the greater Sacramento region through different non-profits. \nAPEX is an opportunity for students to grow by putting their faith and leadership into action. Each student will need to apply and interview before acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance into the program\, students will be awarded a $400 credit towards summer camp. \nApplications are due May 3rd by 11:59pm. \nInterviews are to take place beginning May 5th-May 21st. \nAcceptances will be announced May 22nd. \nWe are looking forward to an incredible summer of serving together!
