Celebrate Pastoral Recovery

Dear Brothers in Ministry,

Working in ministry can be extremely fulfilling, but it can also be uniquely difficult.  Pastors can often feel an overwhelming sense of burden, responsibility, and perfection.

We carry enormous weights of personal hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We are often hardest on ourselves than others due to the high-standard others often expect of us.

All pastors are “wounded healers” to one degree or another, but our ability to bring God’s healing to others can be deeply affected by the extent to which our own wounds have been healed.

Unfortunately, sometimes leaders of the church feel uncomfortable seeking help or counseling for themselves. Celebrate Pastoral Recovery “CPR” has a dream of helping pastors find a haven for experiencing the healing power of Jesus Christ for their own hurts, habits, and hang-ups of the past, present, and future.
