Men’s Breakfast with John Mullen
|November 13||8:00am - 9:30am||Bayside Church | Folsom||7|
John served the CIA as Assistant Director where he led all US clandestine collection, technical, support, and analytic efforts in the East Asia and Pacific region and advised the White House, National Security Council, and senior policy makers on cyber, counterintelligence, and other national security issues. John previously served undercover in a variety of foreign assignments as a CIA operations officer and Chief of Station before being appointed Associate Executive Assistant Director of the FBI by Director Mueller, where he was one of two senior executives responsible for the Bureau’s 10,100-person counterterrorism, counterintelligence, WMD, and intelligence efforts worldwide.
John received over three dozen leadership and achievement awards, including the Presidential Rank Award, the US government’s highest civilian honor, and the Distinguished Intelligence Medal, CIA’s highest award. Since retiring from the CIA, John transitioned into numerous leadership roles in the private sector. He is the co-founder and board member of a quantum computing company, and concurrently serves as the Executive Vice President of Strider Technologies, a Washington, DC company helping Fortune 500 companies protect innovation by leveraging big data to identify and mitigate nation-state threats to their personnel, intellectual property, and supply chains. John also serves as an advisor to the Board at Sandia National Labs.
John is married and has two grown sons. He and his wife live here in Folsom and have attended and been involved at Bayside Folsom for many years. He has a passion for men’s ministry and a message for us about finding God’s “Peace” in Crazy Times.
