Women of the Word – Spring 2024
Featured

April 22
9:30am - 11:00am

Women of the Word (WOW) is a Bible study where we gather as a community to hear a relevant message, followed by meeting within small groups for discussions that foster authentic conversations, for the ultimate purpose to grow in relationship with God and one another.

This Spring semester, we will begin with the study Worthy and grow in our understanding about who God says we are and that Christ alone gives us our identity. The Monday PM and Thursday AM groups will finish the semester with It Is Well, where we will explore what the Bible says about finding God's peace in the middle of our anxiety and worry. The Tuesday Online group will end with Seeing God as a Perfect Father, where we will be encouraged to rightly see God's character and understand that we are loved, pursued, and secured by the Creator of the Universe. We are looking forward to growing in our relationship with God, and with each other.

It Is Well and Seeing God as a Perfect Father begin the week of April 8th.  We will wrap up our semester the week of May 13th.  We will meet on Monday evenings 6:30 – 8:00 PM (fellowship time begins at 6:00), Thursday mornings 9:30 – 11:00 AM (fellowship time begins at 9:00), or Tuesday online from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.

Unfortunately, we are out of the It Is Well study guides and our supplier, The Daily Grace Co., is out of stock.  We would still love for you to join us on Monday night or Thursday morning for small group using a downloadable version of the study guide on the Daily Grace Co. app.  Once you register for WOW, you will receive an email with details on how to download the app and purchase the material.  The cost of the material online is $19.99.

If you are exploring a relationship with God, thank you for trusting us to walk along side you. All are welcome. We, the women of Bayside Folsom, are the Women of the Word. We are women of and children of God, ONLY because of God’s beautiful invitation to know Him and be known by Him, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

So whether you are new to the Christian faith or mature in your faith, you are a woman of and a child of God. You are welcome here.
